Even after a four-year hiatus, the highly anticipated third season of 'Euphoria' is set to captivate audiences once again. The trailer for Season 3 has already amassed a staggering 100 million views in just 48 hours, according to Warner Bros. Discovery, making it the largest original series trailer launch in HBO Max history during that timeframe.
This impressive feat surpasses HBO's previous records, which were set by high-profile series like 'The Last of Us' and 'Game of Thrones'. Last year, 'The Last of Us' Season 2 trailer achieved 158 million global cross-platform views in just three days. In 2019, the final season of 'Game of Thrones' trailer attracted 81 million views within 24 hours.
'Euphoria' has experienced a meteoric rise in popularity since its debut, with many of its main cast members becoming household names. The series finale of Season 2 drew a record-breaking audience of 6.6 million viewers across all HBO platforms, a 30% increase from the previous week and surpassing the Season 1 finale in 2019. This success has solidified 'Euphoria' as one of HBO's most-watched series ever.
