Drake believes that pitching in a hitter-friendly environment demands a more intuitive approach, focusing on the process rather than obsessing over the numbers. "You have to trust your abilities and accept the circumstances. A negative mindset won't do any good." This mindset shift is crucial for pitchers in such conditions.
Now fully recovered, Drake is gearing up for his debut in the Cactus League. He will be the second player from the Kelly trade to start this spring, following left-hander Mitch Bratt's impressive performance on Saturday.
